I went with Capital SUP on a tour around Back Creek led by a naturalist who explained the local flora and fauna we encountered, including Blue and Lesser Herons, ducks, and turtles. Our guide was very interested by my alligator sighting, having heard about the 8 footer killed near Chesapeake Beach.
