Last night Dad and I took my boat out for its first race. It was us and a bunch of 420s. We were doing good till the boom broke at the mast. The part that attaches to the mast was coming apart and dad called the race for us at that point. I was ok with it. It was blowing a lot out there and we had about a foot of water in the boat with us! Dads friends were on a crash boat and towed us in. I had fun, but I think we need to make some repairs now.
