Sunrise departure from Herring Bay.
Sunset over Smith Creek, southern Potomac River
Early Departure from HHS, heading for the Potomac River. Caught in a 40+ kt squall just off Point Lookout at about 1600. Although we had intended to make more progress up the river, forecast for continued storm activity prompted the decision to head into Smith Creek, and tie up at the Point Lookout Marina for the night.
