6/27 Sunny, 84f, S@15 Paddled up Ridout Cr. Windy. Lots of boats out. Ospreys are chasing a bald eagle. Picked up a chum net from a neighbor's dock that had a small water snake entangled. I cut the net away so the snake could escape. Picked up a mylar balloon and some plastic.
6/28 Sunny, 84f, S@15 Took the electric dinghy for another run. Found some plastic. It doesn't do well into a strong wind and waves.
6/29 Sunny, 78f, S@10 Took Lux to Jabin's Yacht Yard for the summer haulout. The bottom looks reasonably good for 3 years in the water. Missed the haulout last year - the year of pandemic isolation.
6/30 Sunny, 89f, S@10 Electric dinghy to rescue a boat lift pole from a neighbor's lift. Examined the abandoned goose nest on an osprey nesting pole - the eggs hadn't fully developed. Probably due to lack of insultion under them.
