8/2 Kayaking Clear, 74f, calm Paddled to the mount of Whitehall cr. two pieces of plastic. Some boats out towing riders.
8/3 Kayaking Cloudy, 74f, calm Paddled up Whitehall to the big houses. Found a green resin chair. There was a tire on a rim in the creek - a jetski stopped and picked it up.
8/5 Kayaking Clear, 78f, S@10 Paddled up the canal to investigate a fisherman who went there. He reported catching snakeheads in the creek. Then paddled into Ridout cr. Found a few pieces of plastic.
8/6 Dinghy sailing Clear, 84f, S@15 Sailed to 1/3 of the way across Whitehall Bay. The chop made me work for the distance. Much better after turning and running downwind.
8/14 Kayaking Sunny, 92f, N@5 Paddled down the creek. Found a water bottle, mylar balloon, and various plastic. Two outboards with only young women aboard - a somewhat unusual instance. It's good that they are comfortable handling a boat.
8/15 Kayaking Sunny, 80f, calm Paddled up Whitehall to the Grand Banks. Several boats and SUPs out. Only one piece of plastic.

8/21 Rowing Sunny, 84f, N@5 Rowed the fatty knees dinghy up Ridout cr. Picked up a few pieces of plastic.
8/22 Kayaking Cloudy, 84f, calm Paddled to Whitehall Bay. A few boats out. Saw an eagle - the ospreys didn't chase it. Some plastic and a can of beer.
8/23 Lux motor outing Partly cloudy, 88f, calm No wind but we wanted to take Lux out. Went out to R2 and back.
8/24 Kayaking Clear, 88f, calm Paddled up Ridout cr to the red sailboat. Not many people out in the heat and humidity. Found a piece of plastic and a sharpie.
8/28 Kayaking Partly cloudy, 85f, calm Paddled to Whitehall Bay. Two crabbers running trot lines. Two pieces of plastic.
8/29 Kayaking Sunny, 84f, calm Paddled to Whitehall Bay. Picked up an old tire and a piece of plastic. I'm sure the kayak looks weird with all the junk on board. Saw an eagle.
