We were supposed to go to Martha's Vineyard on our friends Jeanneau Velsco 37 on July 9th, but delayed a day to allow Hurricane Elsa pass. Saturday morning, we headed down the Sakonett River headed for Martha's Vineyard but as we approached the Rhode Island Sound, the sea were 6 feet plus so we turned around and went back to Sakoneet Marina. Sunday we motored over to the Kickamuit River where we anchored for lunch. We then motored to Bristol and toured the waterfront by boat finally ending up at the New England Boatyard for the evening. Monday we motored back to Sakonett Marina.
