Took a couple out on their new StarCraft 23. We met the dealer at the 64th st boat ramp in Ocean City and put the boat in the water. We headed south pass the route 90 Bridge and Past the route 50 bridge. It's pretty good spot to teach people about channel markers because as soon as you cross the ocean city inlet the markers change and really emphasizes the "red-right-returning" (Which I've always thought is somewhat confusing) We also went to the gas dock at Fisherman's marina So that they could familiarize themselves with fueling up the boat. (Yep gas prices are north of five bucks this year at the fuel dock). Then we headed up into the St Martin's River And practiced anchoring up at a sandy little shallow water spot where people go in the summer. It was a pretty nice day out a little bit chilly but the sun was shining except for a couple quick little rain showers. Then we took the boat back to their condo in Ocean City and put it on the lift (There was already checked out by somebody else and adjusted to fit the new boat) Show them how to flush out the motor with freshwater and rinse her down. All in a days work. #lovewhatyoudoanditdoesntseemlikework
