Located on the Miles River, the Miles River Yacht Club was founded in 1920 and has a rich history of promoting boating and recreation for club and community members. The club offers a juniors sailing program that enables students to work on sailing skills as well as boater saftey skills. Youth and adult sailors are also invited ot participate in regattas and races throughout the year. In addition to its sailing program, the club also sustains a swim team. When not on or in the water, members are able to participate in a multitude of functions put on by the club.
