Four of us went down the Severn River on Sea Bear to try some fishing despite the weather. Dark skies aft came upon us quickly with a shower of hail and a massive decrease in visibility and rudder control. Thankful for a cabin to retreat to, the weather soon passed and we cast lines in hopes of a bite. Coast Guard announcements of a vague boater distress call at the mouth of the Severn put us in search mode.  We never spotted any boater in distress nor did we catch any fish, but everyone had a great adventure.
