An unusually large number of BCYC members sought refuge in Florida this Winter to avoid the Artic Blasts and freezing temperatures in Annapolis.  There were numerous gatherings including one in Jensen Beach, Florida for a day on the beach in mid-February followed by food and fellowship.   (See photos)

On March 15, the Club held a Wine Tasting event hosted by Ambassador Vern Penner in Annapolis where he shared his knowledge in depth of wines from Italy, Portugal, and California.

On April 7, Members will take a tour of the Poplar Island Environmental Restoration Project, traveling by boat from Tilghman Island to the project area to review the improvements taken over the last two years since the Club’s last visit there.

The Club’s Season Kickoff will take place at Oyster Cove, Grasonville, MD on May 3-4 and its Annual week-long Cruise will be held early this year, on May 17-26, with a planned itinerary of: Tolchester Marina, Worton Creek Marina, Skipjack Cove, Tidewater Marina, Still Pond, and ending up at Haven Harbor Marina
