Three great events kicked off the 2016 Sailing Season for Club Beneteau Chesapeake Bay (CB2) members. Nichols Quarters hosted the first raft-up of the season at the Fells Point Privateer Festival; pirate costumes, food and drink were in abundance.
Four CB2 racers placed in the Top 5 of the CYBRA “True Cruiser” category during the race from Annapolis to St. Michaels. Those placing: #1 Anneliese, Joe Zebleckes, #2 Nichols Quarters, Scott Nichols, #4 Celerity, Rick Lober and #5 Kindred Spirit, Robert Greve. Congratulations to all!
During the first weekend of June a number members traveled South to attend the annual Beneteau Rendezvous sponsored by AYS and Beneteau US. This year’s festivities took place at Dozier’s Regatta Point Marina in Deltaville. “Flags” was the theme this year, making for some creative costumes. The three-day event was filled with parties, food, dancing, tours, and seminars.
