In 2021, we put 106 people on the water in Baltimore, including groups from St Mary's county who practiced taking compass bearings before boarding the schooner Virginia, and 4th and 5th graders who learned sea shanties and sang them to the crew of the Pride of Baltimore. We also started a new adult education program and took 8 adults out on the Jolly Dolphin to introduce them to traditional boats and the schooner race--this included several power boaters who had never been on a sailboat before.
