A bit of wind and whitecaps but I made it
Century Club: Susan StGeorge
Had some good wind and managed to put up the spinnaker.
Crossed St George Creek and walked on the beach.
Took out Whirlaway for training with new crew. The clew of the boom broke making the main sail in danger of flying free. Had to take the sails down before things got ugly.
Sailed on Whirlaway with mostly new crew in light winds. It was a good training session. I was at the helm the entire time for the first time.
Crossed StGeorge Creek, walked on the beach and kayaked back.
Crossed St George creek and back.
Kayaked across St George Creek to Cherryfield Point. Took advantage of the beautiful beach for a short walk and sunbathing.
Just missed the sun going down. Darn!
Joined our captain, Frank Walter, and crew for our first time out racin on Whirlaway. We had the spin flying.
