Had a nice afternoon sail across Charlotte Harbor. Sky ranged from a few clouds to mostly cloudy with a temperature ranging from 84 to 93 degrees. It even rained for a few minutes while the sky was partly cloudy.
Had a nice afternoon sail on Charlotte Harbor. Sky was mostly sunny with temperatures in the low to mid 80's and a south wind in the 10 to 12 knot range.
Had a nice afternoon sail on Charlotte Harbor. Showers and thunderstorms were in the weather forecast so I had to keep a close eye on the sky and the weather radar. Was pleasantly surprised when the skies cleared during the sail making for a very nice sail.
Had a fun daysail on Charlotte Harbor. There was more wind than predicted so I ended up sailing under just a reefed mainsail in winds gusting to 25 knots, yet I still hit speeds over 6 knots. Not many other boats were out today and I only saw one other sailboat underway.
Sailed to the Peace River. The weather was beautiful with lots of sunshine, temperatures in the mid 80's and northeasterly winds in the 10 to 15 knot range with gusts into the 20's. Saw several Florida Fish and Wildlife police boats training in the Peace River.
