Not much wind for sailing today so I kayaked to Forked Creek and Cool Spring Cove on the Magothy River. Sky was overcast but it is much cooler than it was a few days ago.

The entrance to Ross Cove is hard to see from the Magothy River
The entrance is narrow and hidden by a spit of land
Once inside, Ross Cove is quite wide
It even has enough water for a Mirage 35 sailboat
There is a community beach, boat ramp and swim platform
Kayaked to Ross Cove on the Magothy River. The entrance to Ross Cove is only about 50 feet wide and is hard to see from the river due to a spit of land. Once inside the cove is quite wide and has enough water for a 35 foot sailboat.
