Capt Dave joined me for a spin around Back Creek. Then we redeployed the dock whips in advance of the approaching weather. Day 121 in the books.

Detailers are busy at the sailboat show so they asked to postpone the CC project while it's on the lift. Moved it back over to home port. Next up: resetting the mooring whips in advance of the approaching storm.
Got the Sailfish in place on Capt Bill's lift for cleaning.
I floated the Sailfish over to my friend's lift next door to try the fit. I wanted the detailers to be able to inspect and clean the bottom as necessary. Pleasantly surprised by how gunk-free it was. Later that afternoon Capt Bill helped me install a new freshwater pump.
Sunrise cruise with Lisa, Ari, and Spencer, then a cruise to Deale to help Capt. Bill delivery his 28' Pursuit to Tri-State Marine for a 500-hour service. I hit a stray crab pot buoy but it wedged against the port engine and did not wrap the prop. We fished Poplar Island on the way back with no joy. Then we went to Knapp Narrows but the restaurant was closed. So we had smash burgers at The Beacon and came home. Nice full day on the water.
Watched powerboats parading out of the Severn River for their home ports after the Power Boat Show in Annapolis. Then during a creek cruise I spied about a half dozen long stem red roses floating in Back Creek. We all had our guesses about how them came to be set adrift that way.
Later sunrises make the morning photo shoots a little easier. I also took the CC over to Annapolis Harbor to shoot some pics of the powerboat show from the water.
Capt Jacques carried essential safety gear on his trip to deliver Optionality for trade-in. I took the CC around Thomas Point and into Duval Creek to drop it off for him. A sparkling morning for a 9am trip there and back to Eastport.
The CY needed a replacement neoprene strip to pad the walkthrough windshield. First a session with GooGone and then strip went on like butter. I bought 1/4" and 1/8" thickness just to cover my bases. The 1/8" was the ticket.
Put this season's seam sewing experience to use on a cockpit cushion. It must have taken a beating during our Kent Narrows pub crawl transit.
