A good run and a new state! We crossed the border into North Carolina shortly after leaving Myrtle Beach. The topography changed also. 'Low Country' is giving way to hills, and Spanish moss on trees has suddenly disappeared. We do still see signs warning of alligators, but I don't think for much longer.

A careful cruise with a sharp eye on the weather and various navigational hazards, all successfully negotiated. Extremely Beautiful stretch of river/ICW, at least until civilization re-appeared at Myrtle Beach.
when we got to our destination after a run without traffic, we encountered a narrow tight channel with tricky currents, a large boat coming out, another boat that wanted to come in, a pontoon boat, and the local tiki barge, all in 100 yards of water. It's like that sometimes!
A good cruise on a potentially bad day. Rain and thunderstorms threatened all day but held off Yea!
Waca Wache is a very nice marina with a great slip for us,a restaurant, and a quiet live band. Excellent! Really pretty spot.
Good cruise on marginal weather day north from Charleston to McCellanville, SC. Cruising with guests from Colorado.
Tour boat ride between Liberty Landing in Charleston and Fort Sumter with guests from Colorado.
Preparing for Bill to be away, source and preparing for AC repairs.
A short 6 mile cruise to the Megadock in Charleston, SC. No trouble in Elliotts cut and arrived near slack tide at Safe Harbor Charleston mega dock.
This cruise started calm but the wind came up in the afternoon, and docking became a challenge when we arrived at St. Johns. We ended up on an exposed outer T-Head because it was the safest docking option.
An uneventful cruise on a calm day. Timed the tide and current well!
