Sailed four hours across Bay and back with Jules & Nico. Her last sail before heading to Iceland (and thence to Germany for wedding)
Century Club: Harry Jennings
Across the Bay and back in winds that lightened by the hour. Eventually spent two hours trying to tack in to Whitehall Bay and finally surrendered to hunger, lit the motor, and went to Cantler's to eat yummy crabbies (and recharge the battery.)
Worked on Imidiwan a bit -- brought a few bits and bobs on board. Motored down to Cantler's; ate crab; charged batteries. Motoring back up Mill Creek after dark . . .
Light winds from the north, low tide. Out about 90 minutes, mostly trimming.
Excellent sail with 10-15 kt from the south. We sailed to the shoals off of Stevensville and back in just less than three hours.
Sailed Whitehall Bay on Saturday, variable wind, but learning how she behaves in light wind better. Motored up Mill Creek to Cantler's --- still learning how to maneuver in close quarters but docked and cleared easily.
Spent night on boat and rowed dinghy in after buttoning up.
A couple of hours on the water, mostly trimming, and some on the helm (first time in a Scot)
Worked Tuesday and spent the night on Imidiwan
Went out with Juliana -- nice 8kt breeze that died while we were out, but made it back in with minimal motoring
