Near perfect conditions on the Bay. Winds from the east at 12 building to 15 by the time we were done sailing. Felt the grove of the boat for wind and waves. Jamie Chapman and myself out for a Sunfish sail.

Nice sunny sunday. The annual GVI Spring Fling Sunfish racw was postponned due to high wind from Saturday to Sundy. Jamie Chapman, Kelly Breiner, Heather and myself showed up to the beach at 2. The Bay was flat due to west winds so no fetch on the beach. As we prepared to sail the gusts came up and Kelly and Heather decided not to sail.
Course was a beat to R4 then G3 at Salt Ponds and then back to the beach. Winds were around 14 steady with gust around 18-20. I was hking flat out on the beat to R4 and went out into the Bay. Jamie stayed closer to shore and tacked back and forth inshore. I was over three minutes ahead at the mark and never looked back. We would normally run three races but Jamie conceeded after one.
