Had a nice afternoon on the York River, but wind was howling. Gusts to 30. I almost reached 7kts on a reach with only a reefed main. Because wind was from SSW, very little chop.

Forecast 10-15 with gusts to 25. Turned out to be a very nice day with no reefing or harrowing experience. My tacking the 150 genoa was much smoother. And I saw a submarine !
My docking was almost a disaster as I had 15kts of wind behind me as I headed into the slip.
Sunny, mid 80's with water temp upper 50's.
Almost came back in as soon as I got out of harbor, but perservered. blowing like crazy. Learned a lot about the boat. My little Typhoon is a trouper. I am sore all over.
Sunny and a little cool on the York. Started off with brisk breeze from the West - reefed the main and sailed nicely although against the wind and current, little progress. Wind slackened so unreefed the main. Then wind quickly shifted 180 degrees.
It was a good day. Tomorrow looks good as well.
I was on the fence about going out. The wind was whistling in the rigging and it was a lttle cool, but I put on a heavy sweater, two jackets and reefed the main. All in all, a nice afternoon.
Beautiful day on the York, although winds gusty and variable. Shortly before I planned on coming in, a huge gust hit that knocked the boat on its side and flooded the cockpit as solid water came over the coaming.
At the dock, everything sorted and no harm done. Just another good story.
Sunny with a very steady 10-12 kt breeze from the ESE. Excellent sailing on the York.
Wind very light and variable on the York until 2pm when I was heading back in- then a good breeze kicked up, but I had to get home.
Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
fine tuned the outhaul and cunninham set ups. Whipped the ends of some lines. That's about all.
Much too windy to sail.
Forecast for sunny, 70, light winds.
Reality: dense clouds, 60 and howling wind, too much for genoa and reefed main. Total trip time from leaving dock to return was 1 hour.
