Sunny and warm. No jacket needed. Very gusty - had the rail under a couple of times. A great upper and lower body workout.

I think today is the last day until next winter that I will wear lined jeans while sailing .
Bright sunshine, steady wind ~8kts.
All is well on the York River
Another warm sunny day on the York River. I had a busy day so did not get to the boat until 3pm. In the harbor there was no wind and I thought it would be a lazy warm evening sail. When I got out on the river, it was blowing about 15-20kts and I was overpowered even after reefing the main so I uncharacteristically used good judgement and went back in . Hope it still counts towards my 100,
Drove up to Deltaville this morning to pick up my new 150% genoa from Latell Sailmakers. Then back to the York River for an absolutely perfect saillng day. Got some good upper body exercise from wrestling with the genoa.
sunny and mild with nice breeze, but it eventually died.
Still better than sitting at home. Water turned on at marina so washed off 5 months of salt and dirt.
Bright sunshine, temp in the upper 70's and nice, but variable breeze. Great sailing on the York. I will be back for more tomorrow.
Bright sunny day on the York. Temp ~70. Wind was 15-20 from the East which means big waves.
Even with working jib and reefed main I had my hands full. I hit 7.2 knots surfing down a wave- not bad for a Cape Dory Typhoon !
On the way into the harbor, I tried to help a 35 foot sailboat that had run aground on a falling tide after its engine failed. Needless to say, my 3 hp electric motor was not up to the task.
Mid sixties, wind 5-15 predominantly from the NW. Bright sunshine. Can't beat it !
Sunny, temp around 70, wind 15+ knots from the East.
Sailed with reefed main and jib. Really felt like Spring !
First time in a long while that I did not need to wear a jacket on the water. The warmth was welcome. The wind was very fluky and after a couple of hours, I motored back to harbor.
