Picked up trash from the Cape St Claire main beach near the Little Magothy Inlet. A lot of degraded plastic from the Bay and the usual trash that idiots leave around. In the afternoon went for a SUP - to Persimmon Point then into Little Magothy. Met neighbor Doug, paddled with him, then went back for more of Little Magothy.

Water quality terrible - milky brown/cloudy, lots of degrading plastic trash spread out, sticks and logs, on Bay, in Magothy and Little Magothy. Saw large fox sitting at end of pier near Persimmon Point - enjoying the morning just like me!

Morning SUP, New Year's Eve! With Greg, tour of Little Magothy. Met couple that had rowed from Gibson Island on nice CLC Northeaster Dory looking for breakfest - pointed them to Blue Rooster. Wind up in LM. Continued on to Main Beach and then to Persimmon Point and back as wind dropped.

Morning kayak (Pamlico) paddle to Baltimore Light. Beautiful morning feeling much warmer than the forecast. Encountered patch of floating plastic trash about 3/4 of the way there. Was able to collect almost all except large submerged plastic drum.

Before work. Nice and cold but calm. To Persimmon Point, hunters just past there so turned back and did tour of Little Magothy.
