Before work. Slightly warmer, cloudy/foggy but very calm. Tour of Litte Magothy with Greg. Lots of Geese and the Buffleheads were back, probably avoiding the hunters on the Bay.

Pamlico kayak. Afternoon paddle to end of Deep Creek and back. Ice covering portions of Deep Creek, had to navigate around hunters at Persimmon Point, drifted for end of sunset off of Little Magothy.

Before work. To Persimmon point and then tour of Little Magothy. Breeze from south so upwinding to top of LM along west shore. Light rain. Out of LM to east along Bay shore and then back to beach.

Before work, tour of the Little Magothy. Cold, frost on ground, changed to knit hat! But sunny, beautiful morning with slight west breeze, still worked up a sweat. No cormorants, no ducks, no geese, but compliment of Great Blue Heron - they are all staying in trees near water, not hunting as when it was warmer - I guess Winter is here...

Before work, tour of the Little Magothy. A bit cold, a little wind, mostly cloudy, a little rain, and some sun. No cormorants, almost no ducks, some geese, a bunch of Great Blue Heron - not sure if that's all because of the storm. I really didn't think today would be a good day but it was a great way to start the last month.
