Another near perfect day of sailing out to the Potomac River just past the Colonial Beach town pier.

Near perfect afternoon for a sail out to the Potomac. Clear skies, temperature in the low 70’s, wind pushed me along at just under 4 mph.
After a chilly moring it warmed up nicely and I went for a real nice sail out to the Potomac.
Nice sail on Mattax Creek.
Nice afternoon sail around Mattox Creek.
I can’t thank my friend Les enough for taking Karen and I out on his 36’ Catalina, Troubadour. I believe it is the largest sailboat that I’ve been on so far and certainly the largest that I’ve sailed. First time I’ve sailed with a wheel vs a tiller. Not much wind but had a blast!
Nice after lunch sail around Mattox Creek.
Near perfect day for a sail. Winds around 8 mph from the east. Went out just past Mattox Creek marker 1 into the Potomac and back. Averaged around 4.5 mph.
Took our pontoon boat, The Kiwi Kruzer, out to the Potomac River and did some fishing. Great day to be on the water, sunny, warm, but only caught 2 croakers.
Sailed out to the Potomac and back. Okay wind, nice and sunny.
