Beaufort, North Carolina, put in on Front Street one block north of the Inlet Inn, paddled into the work boat harbor, I saw a pelican on Taylor Creek, temperature was 60 degrees and the wind was 9 mph from the SSW.
Beaufort, North Carolina, launched off of Front Street onto Taylor Creek, then paddle over to Carrot Island. Saw a Bottlenose dolphin on the way over to Carrot Island and saw 4 to 5 wild ponies on the Island. Got out of the kayak and walked around on the Island for a little while, then returned to Front Street. Wind was 7 to 13 mph and the temperature was 69 degrees.
Beaufort, North Carolina, on Taylor Creek, launch off of Front Street right down from the Inlet Inn, paddled over to Carrot Island. Saw 6 or 7 wild ponies living on Carrot Island. Spoke to a Gentleman who was extremely pleased to be living in Beaufort. Wind was 13 to 15 mph from the SSE and temperature was 68 degrees.
