Amos Garrett Waterfront Park in Annapolis, Maryland, paddled to the Yacht Basin and was heading north into Ego Alley when I noticed some dark clouds to the north, turned around and headed back to the Park, thought about ditching the kayak somewhere and walking back to the truck, but figured either way I was going to get rained on, so I kept going on the water. Thought I might make it but I got rained on during the last 10 to 15 minutes. Started out as light rain but it got a little heavier, did not have my rain gear on, got a little wet, oh well, I'll live. Fortunately it was 55 degrees and wind was 10 from SSW and mostly blocked by the shoreline.
