Warehouse Creek Public Landing, wind was 0 mph, it was very foggy, visability was very low, but when you are only moving 2 mph you don't need much visabiliy, temperature was 45 to 49 degrees, went West and back then East and back.

Wind was from the South at 7 to 10 mph, so I went to Shipping Creek Boat Ramp, most of the ice has melted, there was a little chop to the water but not bad and the temperature 55 to 58 degrees. Paddled around the spur to the ramp and some out on the Creek.

Went to Warehouse Creek but it was still iced in, so I was headed to Romancoke on Eastern Bay when I decided to ckeck out Shipping Creek Boat Ramp. Shipping Creek looked usable so I threw the kayak in and paddled around for almost an hour, wind was 7 to 10 mph on the phone but did not see that much on the water and temperature was 49 degrees.

Annapolis , Maryland, Spa Creek, Amos Garrett Waterfront Park to the Chart House and back, wind was 8 to 10 mph from the South and the temperature was a balmy 47 degrees. There was a little ice on the creek but not enough to cause any problems.

Shipping Creek Boat Ramp was iced in pretty good, fortunately some work boats had broken up the ice so I was able to get out to the liquid water, there was about a 1/4 mile of ice to get through, wind was not a factor 0 to 5 mph from the SouthEast and temperature was a rathe balmy 40 degrees.

Went to Romancoke Om the Eastern Bay from the get go today, wind was 3 to 4 mph from the SouthEast to the SouthWest and the temperature was 31 degrees, launched off the beach and went south to the Cove Creek Marina, but ran into ice again just like yesterday, then went north to the Romancoke Fishing Pier and back.

Had a hard time finding calm water, my usual places were frozen, so I went to the Kent Narrows, but the currents and the wind didn't look favorable so I went back to Romancoke By the Bay, tide was very low so I had to walk out into the water to get enough water to float the boat, wind was 7 to 9 mph from the West and the temperature was around 39 degrees. It was an OK ride, I wish I could have stayed longer, but I spent an hour trying to find the rigth place and I had certain Santa Claus responsibilities on Christmas Day.
