Sailed with C3 class to get ice cream at Ferry Landing. Upwind down to a sketchy docking, then downwind back with jib only up. Had a man overboard on the return that could have been handled better. Still lots of fun

First Wed night beercan race in san diego aboard Ohana of SDYC. Ran mid-bow. Low speed and current strategy issues. Could have called the line better at start. First time racing with Tommy!

First day sailing with no mask felt fantastic! Had a gigantic pod of dolphins follow us for a long time and saw a blue whale. No seasickness. Great guests, good tips

Out on the water for Wed night sailing in Annapolis with Jonathan, Christian, Jaimie and Pop-pop, but race was called due to light wind

Day 1: Rough start leaving Newport as we got spin fouled badly on headsail while hoisting. Sunny and clear, decided to take inshore route and headed up Long Island doing about 9 kts SOG. Stopped for the night right before hell's gate so we could wait for the current to switch. Got spin fouled again because we tried to do a bareheaded takedown
Day 2: Lots of fun motor sailing through hell's gate and Statue of Liberty, got lots of great photos. Offshore was rough. Big rolling swell hitting us from the side meant bad seasickness. Cold, intermittent rain, miserable
Day 3: Better sea state and less rain and we made it through the offshore leg to Delaware doing ~8 kts SOG. Made it to the c&d around 4 and stopped for fuel, food, and showers. High spirits with a lovely all-female crew and Steve. Makes yesterday worth it
Day 4: GORGEOUS upwind sailing weather into Annappolis, 10 kts, no chop, smooth sailing

Day 1: Start of Annapolis to Newport race! Upwind up the bay meant a thousand tacks, J2 up most of the way with me and Zach on consistent headsail trim
Day 2: Out of the mouth of the bay early morning and around Chesapeake lighthouse mid morning put up FR0 to pass boat in front of us and gaining of ranger (navy Farr 40). Set the A2 for a long sleigh ride up the coast
Day 3: A2 up all day, great conditions, passed ranger and continued making crazy leads all day. Nonstop active trimming. Pushing ourselves hard
Day 4: Final push to finish, everyone exhausted. Crossed the line with a beautiful A2 gybe around 5:00 am in 1st place - corrected to 2nd after ORC penalties
