I'm back on the Old Bay, but hardly anyone else has splashed their boats yet.
I did some short trips to the drawbridge, Horseshoe Point and CoC.

  • Rays in Tampa Bay

Took a long cruise from Snead island back home.  Dolphins popping up on either side just past the railroad bridge was the thrill of the upwind trek.  And a bunch of local rides around the river.

  • Dolphin

I saw some dolphins at the mouth of the harbor and took some decent video of them splashing.  E's family was here, so quick harbor trips.

  • Mossy tree

Took a trip up to Fort Hamer and saw some ominous swirls in the black water.  Maybe manatees, maybe trout, or maybe a bull shark.
The rest of the week I just paddled around the harbor.

  • Opps…dolphins were there

3 days on the river.  The water is warm and the sun is shining. And that's about it.

  • Florida 1

Back for another year.  Kayaking around in Florida for a few days, I saw a group of dolphins eating some stinky fish.

Monday, November 3, 2025 to Sunday, November 9, 2025

  • November

105 nm on the GPS for the season.  The waters temps are dropping, so I'm probably done for the year.

Monday, October 27, 2025 to Sunday, November 2, 2025

  • Reflection

Finally got the GPS up to 100 miles.  Huge windstorm and blow-outs kept me away from the water, even though the temps were nice.
