Between the heat, the thunderstorms and a wasp nest, I did not get out much over the past three weeks. I went to the lake a few times, but the trailer's tire sidewall is very cracked, so I didn't want to risk it.
Wasps are gone, heat is lower, and I have no more excuses.

Last week was all storms, so back to the bay to clean up. Began practicing with the bait caster rod. Most of the time, the reel goes too fast and the brake causes the whole thing to stop, it when I am really gentle, it works okay. I did get out every day this week.
One day on the bay, then up to the lake in WVa. Hopefully some more freshwater fishing in store next week.
Windy and busy out on yonder water, but I managed to squeeze in a bunch of sunset paddling trips.
Blue angels, and then heaps of rain. I did get out on Sunday, and had a swimbait bitten in half by something with teeth. The latest reports have mentioned bluefish, so hopefully next week will have some decent days.
Just one day. It was cold.
I'm back on the Old Bay, but hardly anyone else has splashed their boats yet.
I did some short trips to the drawbridge, Horseshoe Point and CoC.
A few trips on the river before heading back north.
Took a long cruise from Snead island back home. Dolphins popping up on either side just past the railroad bridge was the thrill of the upwind trek. And a bunch of local rides around the river.
I saw some dolphins at the mouth of the harbor and took some decent video of them splashing. E's family was here, so quick harbor trips.
