Not sure where the summer went but we have been on the water a lot. Racing on the J105, J80 and lots of time on the Wasque 32. Our big trip was up to New England on the Wasque - we figured we had over 1100 nm under the keel on this 19 day trip. HIghlights included a great run up the New Jersey coast, arriving to New York City Harbour, Scituate MA, Nantucket and Marthas Vineyard.

So great to be back in the islands - last time was Jan 2020. On a Lagoon 40 from Navigare - lots of fun AND some great sails. Breeze was great every day (and lots the first few days).

Time to brush off the white pants, navy blazer and club scarf for the the official opening of the club. Despite being a year round sailing part of the world, this tradition has continued from the 50's when the club didnt have a breakwall and member had to pull their boats out of the water for the winter. Nowadays it is just a lovely day to celebrate this wonderful club, its members and the sport we all love.

What a great time sailing with my Mom and Dad. Dad is 92 and still as sharp as ever on the helm. Our friend's Beneteau 52 was a lovely boat and crazy fast on this light wind day.

A super sporty day on the water today with puffs over 30 knots. It wasn't our strongest showing but ended up 4th overall for the series. As usual the prestart chaos tight into Annapolis harbour kept everyone on their toes. Too windy and busy for photos.

A run, followed by tennis in Easport and then a boat ride.
The beautiful afternoon started with some teak maintenance as we are stripping all the old varnish off. Sunshine and water was calling to us so we put away the scrapers and headed out for a littel cruise. Picked up our new friends Nick and Lori-Anne in Ego Alley and went for a lovely late afternoon boat ride.
