We met our friends Joe and Suzanne (on Patience) for a weekend rendezvous in Rock Hall. Both boats took mooring balls, and we could use the marina's free bikes to venture into town on Saturday afternoon. We lucked out with the winds on both Friday and Sunday, with winds from the SW on Friday enabling us to sail downwind most of the way. On Sunday, the winds were from the SSE at 10-15, enabling us to sail across the bay on a close reach before motoring under the bridge, then sailing again.

Departed Whitehall marina early Friday afternoon on 4/29 with NW winds 8-10 gusting 12. Sailed wing-on-wing down Bay before turning into Eastern Bay. Anchored near Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum and had dinner at Ava's. On Saturday, had unexpected rendezvous with my former business partner, who happened to be in town for the weekend. We had cocktails and burger cookout in our cockpit. Great fun! On Sunday, winds were very light so we had to motor most of the way back.
