End of the summer and one of the least busy Labor Day Weekend Saturdays I can remember. Rough conditions and cooler than normal temps kept the crowds down.

Decent conditions on the bay. Just enjoyed the beautiful day.
Not many boaters out there but a busy day nonetheless. Pulled 146 for PM and spent the day retrieving navigational hazards courtesy of Erin.
Had to be one of the slowest Sundays all summer. Maybe the kids going back to school or the cooler temps have something to do with it. Saw the Iwo Jima head out to sea loaded for bear.
Another day on the sailboat. Winds were a little sporty, but ended up catching some bluefish on a Clark spoon.
Slow day out on the bay, but it is Taco Tuesday.
Back to the grind after an enjoyable weekend sailing....I really need to retire or win the lottery.
Fantastic weekend of racing or more realistically, following the guys who actually mix it up. Great winds on Saturday, if not in the most ideal direction. But we did get to our tacks quickly. First time the festivities were downtown Cape Charles. Hope they stay there. Winds on Sunday came and went, but we did not retire. We got some fishing, swimming and lunch in, before the winds returned and we finished. I have the best crew, my bride and Rudder.
Did some boat training with a new member of the team. Area familiarization and close quarters handling.
Good day on the water and Taco Tuesday to boot. Handled a call for a sinking Proliner 12 miles off shore. Worked with fire to evacuate, dewater and escort vessel back.
