Got out twice today - the morning was gray, but work and charter fishing was still going on, as shown. Tonight, the Chesapeake Bay was a glassy pond, making sunset pics a fun and different endeavor....  :-)

  • Busy gas dock for a Sunday at 5:30pm....
  • The iconic Green Worm headed home...
  • That's a wrap....

Went to gas up, then floated around at the mouth of the South (River), enjoying the weather and watching the plethora of different boats and folks out at 6pm on a Sunday evening.  Next, I headed to Thomas Point Light for sunset shots.  Lovely evening to be out on the water!

Number of days:

  • Out and about again, finally!
  • Still some breeze and water movement out on the Bay....
  • Still plenty of water movement today (and Grimaldi here needs a paint job)....
  • Chesapeake Bay socked in by clouds
  • The sun tried to break through, but the clouds are winning

The tropical storm Ophelia certainly kept me off the water for three days, but finally back out this morning, making sure the boat weathered the storm ok and trying to catch the weather window before yet another small craft advisory posted for this afternoon possibly intereferes.  Grey day, and I took it REAL slow to make sure to avoid any objects in the water post Opehlia, but great to get out again.....
