Pushed off at 4:42am to see the sky bloom after the previous evening's storms. Got some good cotton candy tones while sitting in gentle swells.

Launched at 4:50am for what turned out to be a just OK sunrise. I headed for City Dock to see the yoga gang assembling at the park and got some photos of the sun rising behind the Bay Bridge. But the shot of the day was of F/V Miss Grace out of Back Creek headed for a day of fishing. @missgracecharters
Took the center console to Meredith Creek and Whitehall Ck with Capt Dean. Saw some sunken vessels and then went for a spin around Ego Alley before returning to Eastport
Met the sunrise at the mouth of Back Creek and was home by 5:50am. Took the family to the new Buddy's on the Bay @ Lowe's Wharf for lunch. Smooth conditions in both directions. Kyle took the helm for the first time on the way there and did a great job. I made the return trip at close to 40 mph on really smooth seas.
Finished putting the house back together after our July 4 backyard party. As a reward I took my daugher for her first ride on the Sailfish 2660 cc. We went out to Cantler's and back.
Another beautiful sunrise run this time deparing the dock at 4:44am. Upon return I relocated the boat to free up docking spots for our July 4 party guests arriving by boat.
Mid morning spin to see the storm clouds marching east over Kent Island and away from Eastport.
The 2660 was compounded and waxed all day on June 30. Dealt with post-rain cabin fever the next day by running out to the Bay and back.
Left the dock before 5am. Water was oily smooth with very soft swells. Pretty sunrise.
After church I loaded some supplies in the console and installed an organizer tray above the helm. Also still experimenting with the battery selector switches.
Andrew from Saltworks Marine stopped by to look at steering systems on both boats. The 33 has a steering fluid seep that is being traced. The 26 steering needed to be bled. After he left I took the 26 out for a short run in mild chop. The mid-90's temps we'd been dealing with all week dropped to 70 today for some blessed relief.
