went out to fine tune jib leads
Century Club: Douglas Ellmore
Went out near end of storm, but RC raised November flag. So we returned to port.
Race from Herring Bay HHSA A to 83, to 82, back to HHSA A. Very glad to have a small home made bimini with the heat and sun. A strong 2nd for the day. Breeze to windward kept us from over heating in the high temps.
We continue to dial in Revolution.
Raced Boomerang.
Main spinnaker halyard jammed and we could not get the asymetrical sail down. We had crew go up the mast and released the sail. We lost 90 minutes on course. Still finished 4th of 5 in CRCA racer cruiser and 9th/15 CRCA overall. A good race with varying breezes.
working things out. took a 2nd place.
Sailed solo from Herring Bay to 84! Played with new aeronometer and software in the chart plotter.
Nice breeze!
In the morning, calibrated knot meter and in the afternoon sailed Herring Bay with the wife.
