Or at least 2 of them. Got my daughter out with us finally! 8-10/S, only a few others out there with us. Great 2 1/2hr sunset cruise out to Hackett Pt, then across towards R2 then Horn Pt, and back around to Whitehall.

motored Saturday in 2-4kts, anchored off Perry Cabin and kayaked around with friends. Ava's pizza is always a go-to winner.
Sailed back Sunday afternoon, 6-10/SSE, whiskerpole-aided in the Wye and main bay- playing some gybe angles, and full-speed close-hauled in Eastern Bay, great sailing!
WInd shifted to NW and kicked up to 15kt as we got to 1AH, and the temp dropped 10deg- I was done and didnt't feel like beating back to Whitehall so we finished by motoring the last 4nm.

Started out nearly calm, found a bit of 4-6/SSE, which turned into a nice 8/NW as sunset approached and we ended up on a hullspeed reach through Whitehall bay and sailed up the creek. Only saw 1 other sail down by Thomas Pt, a small fleet out of SSA, and the Woodwinds.

Corolla NC, water temp ~58, maybe 60? 3/2 suit was plenty warm. 75deg air temp, bluebird sky, SW/12-15kt wind. 2ft low-energy but clean over the low tide bars. 1st time out in 2 years, nice to be hangin' with the pelicans and dolphins again.

Op-tested the new whiskerpole in 15-20kt- sporty stuff with only 1 other person onboard. A fun beat towards USNA then a screaming reach reach to the main channel and to Thomas Pt, then back in. 20nm overall. Plenty of >7kt speeds, highest apparent wind 29kt. 1 reef, and genoa rolled in to ~100%.

replaced the main halyard, shocked the H2O tanks, installed the mast padeye for the whiskerpole- it'll be nice to be able to sail something deeper than 120* apparent! Then ran her under power for a little bit through the creek.

Whitehall Bay, 11March, 1700
Finished some little tasks, was sad because I had nobody to play with on the boat. Then my wonderful wife called and said she was able to leave work early, and would join me! Got underway about 1630, back before sunset/1800. 6-8kt/SE, we just tacked around Whitehall Bay a bit. One other sailboat was out in the harbor over by Carr beach/Ogleton. About 60deg, cooler with the breeze over the water.
