Really want to start sailing, but we need two things to happen over here on Lake Ogleton.
- The channel dredging needs to be completed
- pandemic recreational boating prohibition needs to be lifted.
Liquor stores were left open for fear that it would be massive mental health challenges, same fear if they don't allow recreational boating LOL

Cool Saturday afternoon on the water. Doing our final work on the boat and starting the commissioning process. Now if we can just get this pandemic out of the way we can all get out sailing!
Evening row around Lake Ogleton out into the bay and back. Our J35 is ready to sail, looking forward to the stay at home restriction being lifted along with the recreational boating prohibition.
Gorgeous afternoon, still cannot get over how warm the water is for this time of year. Have major concerns about algae growth in all our creeks this summer given the amount of algae I'm seeing already for this time of year. But on the Plus side they're dredging our Ogleton channel, hard at work!
Myself and a few others with 6.5'+ draft boats are very happy to see this channel being dredged finally. Impassable at low tide for higher draft boats. Roger Bohnert and Sally Clark with their Swan 48 and by far the deepest draft boat in the lake are doing the happy dance for sure.
Nice hour spin out on the bay over to Chase Pond and then around Lake Ogleton.
