Got up early with mask, fins and weight belt along with my diver friend, did our J 35 bottom, checked the mooring chain for the dreaded chafe.

Gorgeous but hot evening, listening to a local band play music Off their boat at anchor in the lake. It was fun but they need much bigger speakers! Did not catch the name of the band but many thanks to them for putting it together breaking the monotony of the pandemic.
Spur the moment, sunny no humidity day with 8 to 10 knot northerly. Stayed out for 2 1/2 hours and then back to work in evening. Just what the doctor ordered. Super cool giant waterslide off a motor yacht anchored off the NA sea wall.
Paddled and rode out to Blue Mind on the mooring to do some boat work and swim and then batten down for a crazy cyclonic thunderstorm. At one point while it was 40 to 50 kn wind, our J35 was laid over and then spun around 180° in less than six seconds.
Hot But flat water day for the oars.
A break in the hot and humid, got out lovely evening sale in Westwinds about 8 to 12 kn, A nice dinner while underway, spent the night on the mooring in Lake Ogleton. Gorgeous sunset, dead calm no wind morning. Nice and cool, Could get used to this!
Not a lot of wind but enough to keep our J35 moving along. Full ebb, current was pushing us upwind which thankfully made the ceiling a little more fun.
Hour and a half paddle, just in time before the pop-up storm started getting bad.
Another blue sky cool east wind day, paddle around Lake Ogleton stopped at our J35 Blue Mind drop some supplies off, slalom around the other mooring bouys on the way home.
