Our first Wednesday night sail of the season! Racing hasn't started yet but we decided to go sailing anyway! It was sunny, cloudy, misting, wet and windy but a nice sail after all. Of course the sun came out after we headed back to the dock! By the time the boat was put away and we made a drink it was raining!

Scott and I sailed Black Dog out around Middle Ground Light and back today. Not the pretty sail but very nice relaxing day on the water. Of course the sun came out about the time we got back to the dock!
We went out for a little sail today with my Granddaughter and her mom and dad. It was Mom and Taylor's first sail! It was cool and overcast but we had a nice sail and then got takout lunch from Surfrider. Very nice day!
Today we moved Mel's Boat Our Time back to Hampton Yacht Club from the yard on the York River. Beautiful morning on the water! She's back in her slip waiting to see where they go for the Memorial Day holiday.
Walked with my granddaughter through our community pool and playground area picking up trash and fallen branches. Generally cleaning up the area for others to use.
We sailed my friends boat from Norfolk Navy marina down to the Salt Ponds entrance and back. The winds were more than forcast at 15-20 with higher gusts. We had a nice sail under headsail only. Didn't start so great but turned into a beautiful day! We only had one small issue with a partrol boat and a Submarine!
I helped my friend Mel move his boat from Hampton Yacht Club to Wormley Creek Marina on the York River. He is stripping and painting the bottom.
I departed Hampton on 16 October 2019 and traveled the ICW to Key West. The trip took approximately 5 weeks to complete. I spent the winter in Key west, with a 3 week diversion to move a 45' Catamaran from Ket West to Panama and through the Panama Canal. Arrived back in Hampton VA on March 30 2020.
