My weather app was predicting winds 7-11 mph, but it turned out that there was much less wind. Rather hot but still fun.

We took our friends out for a pontoon boat ride. We couldn’t more than 400 yards from our dock when we heard thunder and decided to play it safe and return home. Hopefully this 10 minute outing will count as a day on the water.

I haven’t been out in a week and was a bit overly optimistic that there would be a nice breeze for a midday sail. I was out for about an hour and probably covered less than a mile. Oh well, it was still fun.
