My wife Karen and her friend Terry went kayaking and they asked me to join them on my paddleboard. I was responsible for taking pictures which proved to be more challenging than I anticipated on my paddleboard.
Century Club: AJ Batcheller
First paddleboard of the season on Mattox Creek.
We took the Kiwi Kruzer out to the Potomac on this humid June day, killed the engine, cleaned and applied protectant to the seats. After completing the cleaning we just floated and admired how nice the boat looks.
Nice day for a sail out to Colonial Beach and back.
Sailed out towards the Potomac but the wind died hence I turned around to come back. Wind picked up again, but a couple hours of sailing was fine.
Sailed out to Mattox Creek marker 1 and back.
Another sail over to Monroe Bay
Couldn’t resist going out for a sail this beautiful late May afternoon. With the wind coming from the north, made perfect conditions for sailing into Monroe Bay.
Sail out to the Potomac River
Just enough wind to push me out to the Potomac and back. Sailed for about 2 ½ hours.
