Great sailing conditions to start as I sailed out past the downtown area of Colonial Beach by probably a mile or so. Wind really picked up and I fought it for awhile then decided to furl my jib and motor safely home.

Karen and I went out to the middle of the Potomac, turned off the motor, floated, read, and listened to music.
We had so much fun yesterday going out in the pontoon boat and just floating and relaxing that we did it again today.
Played golf in the morning and lacked the energy to sail or paddleboard so we decided to take the pontoon boat out on the Potomac and just float and relax. Read a little bit, enjoyed the view, and just took a couple of hours to love life.
Another day paddleboarding on Mattox Creek

Late morning sail out towards the Potomac. Decent wind for about an hour then no wind at all so I motored back home.
Great day for a sail out to the Potomac.
Pretty close to perfect sailing conditions for my boat and skill level. Sailed out to the Potomac and saw an eagle on one of the day markers though I wasn’t able to get a quality picture. I think I also saw a small cruise ship on the Potomac.
