A singlehanded daysail from our slip off the Rhode River to Eastern Bay, past #2 and to the shore.  Had a single reef in on the trip over, and shook it out for the beam reach back.

Did a singlehanded daysail from our slip off the Rhode River out to the Chesapeake between Kent Island and Thomas Point Light.   Wind was on the lighish side but at least it didn't have the mid-day wind die off.  Course was chosen to give a beam/close reach there and back.

Did a singlehanded daysail from our slip off the Rhode River to Eastern Bay, past #2 to the shore.   Winds would go from 14-17 kn apparrent, and then gust for a few minutes at 20-22 kn - just not quite enough sustained to make me want to reef.

Had to dodge a ship on the way back, and then had to do a couple of tacks to get around a tug/barge.

Carolyn and I were going out for a nice daysail but as we went down the Rhode River from our slip the fog got heavier and heavier.   By the time we got to #4 we still couldn't see #3 - I'd estimate the visability was less than 1/4 mile and getting worse.   And since there was little breeze the sailing wasn't going to be engaging at all.   So we turned around and went back to the slip.

Sailed to Eastern Bay with Carolyn.   Had to dodge a tug/barge that was stopped just south of #1E, and we continued past #2 to the shore, and returned home.

Did a singlehanded sail from the slip off the Rhode River to Eastern Bay, straight past #2 to the shore and back.   Enough wind to put a reef in the main, and got the boat up to 8 knots

A singlehaded sail where I attempted to sail from our slip off the Rhode River to Eastern Bay.   It was a close reach in light wind over, but as I approached Bloody Point I realized that the current was strong enoughdown the bay that the return trip would take several legs upwind.   THe course was changed more northerly than EB to improve the return trip.   Even with the course adjustment we ended up south of West River, so dropped the sails and motored the last bit since it would have required a tack pointing up the bay in light winds with an adverse current......

A singlehanded sail from our slip off the Rhode River.   Originally started towards Eastern Bay but the wind shifted so I ended up along Kent Island across from Thomas Point Light.   The wind was somewhat light.

Did a singlehaded sail from the slip off of the Rhode River out to the Chesapeake Bay.   The wind was light, but it didn't do the usual light/dead/light with large wind shifts so it was fairly enjoyable.   Tried to head to Eastern Bay but because the wind was light I ran out of time.

Did a singlehanded sail from the Rhode River area slip up near Annapolis.   The wind was puffy and shifty but got some decent speed up.
