Pamlico. Happy Hour paddle to Deep Creek and then to Little Magothy. Very cold, but calm and beautiful sunset colors everywhere. Buffleheads and lots of geese in LM.

Before Work. Little Magothy Tour. Lots of snow still on the ground. Water very clear, calm, very pretty winter morning. Lots of geese, Mallards, some Buffleheads, Pileated Woodpecker, Great Blue Herons, and Red Wing Blackbirds have shown up. Also saw comb jellies in the water which was cool.

New Years Day SUP. Little Magothy tour. Very warm, very calm, overcast, and completely fogged in. Almost zero visibility. Great to start another 100! And for today at least, tied with Dave Nestel for most days!

Last day on the water for 2021! To Deep Creek inner Green mark, out through Magothy channel and back to beach. Very calm, very gray, slightly foggy. Good number of ducks, and the hunters were active. Chatted with a kayaker on the water enjoying the day. Goodbye 2021, Happy New Year to all!

Morning SUP. Inlet dredging wrapping up, wind a little up on Bay, so launched inside inlet again for Little Magothy Tour. Lots of geese. Kingfishers, some comorants, Buffleheads and Mallards. Dredging equipmment gone on return so went out inlet to beach.
