Second day of the Regatta. We took fourth in all 3 races, finishing in 4 for the day, one point behind Luna Sea, a 1966 Bristol 39.

This the triangle shaped distance course out into the Bay. We were doing rather well, and then the wind just about died on the last leg. It made for a long race.
Took advantage of some time to get out and paddle again today. No phone, no Strava, no camera. And for a change, I paddled out, away from shore towards the green can buoy off of Breezy Point. I rode the small waves and current back to the beach. Estimated 2 miles. Perfect.
It was just easy sailing on the Pax River, up to the bridge and back. The objective was to simply not to break anything and not lose anything overboard, as the boat was headed for the Stingray Point Regatta, getting underway early on Thursday!
It was a great afternoon on the Pax River! After I met with the rigger and the sailmaker, I backed the boat out of the slip and headed out. This was the first time that I had sailed solo in a while. I got my mojo back! It was a great day to be out there chasing the breeze!
It was great to be back in my own kayak and use my own paddle again! Paddled north to the Camp Roosevelt property line and back. It was a beautiful morning.
Kraken the humpback put on a helluva show for us off Desert Mountain Rock Light!
Our guide said that on a scale of one to ten, this one was 10+! An incredible experience!
On a borrowed kayak, I spent an enjoyable time on the the Little Sabago Lake. It was about quality time on the water!
Took advantage of an opportunity to get on the water and got a great tour of Casco Bay on the mail boat with the 2 Paulas.
I didn't get to the gym last week. Friday I had a legitimate excuse... I was Gov Cupping!
Today, I got back in the kayak for some good arm, shoulder, and abdominal exercises. Paddled north past the bump-out zone and back.
