Went out on kayak while Alan paddleboarded. Checked out the abandoned sailboat in the creek that's been there for a few years. Also checked our a recently sold waterfront house were they've been cutting down all the water front trees presumably to improve their view. Nor sure how legal that is. But nice day on the water.

Went out into the creek to sail around with Alan. He let me be the captain for a while. Pretty windy and the wind direction kept changing so was a challenge. Fun out on the water tho!
Pretty windy sail with Alan out to marker 3 and around the creek into the river. Most wind that I've sailed with on the Potomac. Nice day.
Went out across the creek in my kayak to check out a little dog I see all the time but he wasn't there. On Aug 24 somehow got entered twice and I can not delete or edit it to this day. So I will put 0 days on this entry just so my number of days are correct.
Kayaked to party cove, across the creek and around checking out sailboats and docks. Alan paddleboarded. Nice out.
Paddled to the duck blind. Pretty windy out. Def slightly cooler these days in the low 80s, still humid.

Went across the creek to see if the swans were still around. They were. Very windy. I swear, the wind was blowing against me on the way as well as when I was returning. It alwsys knows where I am headed and tries to thwart my paddling efforts. Creepy.
Took the grands out for a morning ride on the river. The older 2 got a chance to drive the boat with Captain Alan
Then they spent hours playing on the beach in our jellyfish protected "pool".
Grandkids came today so had to put up the section of barrier I had taken down so our kayaks and paddleboard could get out to the creek. Swept up about 20 jellies from inside our "safe pool". Kids had a blast playing in the water. 1 grandson got stung but didn't seem to bother him much after the first 5 minutes of complaining about it being itchy. The barrier definitely works. Lots of jellies outside of it, almost none inside.
