Took the paddle board out today and thanks to last nights rain, Cattail Creek has opened up considerably.  47F, cloudy, with wind at 4 mph from the W at time of launch (1:10 pm).

Took the paddle board out this afternoon.  47F, partly cloudy, with wind at 4 mph from the S at time of launch (4:35pm).  A bit more thawing today as temperatures rose into the upper 40s.  Still chipping at the ice to enter Cattail Creek.

With little breeze and unobstructed access to the water, opted to launch the paddle board this morning.  Creek still frozen but enjoy putting on the dry suit and getting out briefly.  Hoping for continued thawing with rain later today. 34F, wind at 2 mph from S at time of launch (8:15 am).

When the temperature reached 56F this afternoon, I couldn't resist going for a paddle.  By the time I got the dry suit on and walked through the snow to the floating dock the temperature had started to drop.  54F, with wind at 3 mph from the SW at time of launch (4:55pm).  Didn't get very far as the ice eaters had finally cleared the marina but Catail Creek was still frozen.
