Took the paddle board out at Bear Point Cove knowing that it was cloudy, breezy with a chance of showers. Stayed close to the shore and got a surprisingly good paddle in. 73F, cloudy, with wind at 14 mph from the ENE at time of launch (9:05 am). Fortunately rain never materialized despite the clouds.

Went out at Bear Point Cove this morning with the dog. Decided to convert the paddle board to a kayak using the back rest, inflatable seat and double bladed paddle. Great day as the wind was down. 79F, sunny, wind at 6 mph from the ESE at time of launch (10:10am).

Took the paddle board out at Bear Point Cove and was immediately reminded why I enjoy the spot. Ibis in the mangrove, fish jumping left and right, pelicans and great blue heron overhead. Stayed close to the leeward shore due to the breeze. 78F, partly sunny, wind at 15 mph from the ESE at time of launch (9:55am).

Took the paddle board out off South Causeway Beach. Beautiful sunset but got a little interesting as I was returning to shore. Disturbed a shark who was laying in the underwater grasses and he hit the side of the board as he headed out to deeper water. So after years of paddling I can now say I was knocked off my paddle board by a shark. Will be a bit more cautious - especially at sunset. 77F, partly cloudy, wind at 11 mph from ESE at time of launch (6:05pm)
