Spotted several Great Blue Heron. Saw one catch at least 6 small fish in approx. 1 minute. Saw a juvenile fox on the banks but wasn't quick enough to grab a picture. 70F, partly cloudy, with wind 3 mph from the WNW at time of launch (7:25 am).
The floating dock was pinched under the finger pier. Still quite calm this morning. 70F, partly cloudy, with wind at 3 mph from the SSE at time of launch (6:40 am).
Wasn't able to get out early but still got time out on Cattail Creek and avoided the rain. 75F, cloudy, with wind at 6 mph from the SSE at time of launch (10:50 am).
Got out onto Cattail creek a bit earlier to catch the sun coming up. 67F, sunny and calm at 6:40 am.
Returned home and got out on Cattail Creek this morning. 68F, sunny, with winds 3 mph from the NNW at time of launch (6:50am). The wildlife was out in force.
Took the paddle board out on Assawoman canal this morning. 74F, sunny, with wind 4 mph from the NNW at time of launch (7:45 am).

Slept in a bit and got out on the water about 7:50am. 67F and partly cloudy with wind 3 mph from the NW. While the sun was up a bit more as I departed later than normal, the paddle on Cattail Creek remains a very calming source of enjoyment and exercise.
