Took the paddle board out on Cattail Creek this morning. Launched later than I would have liked. 81F, sunny, with wind at 9 mph from the SW at 9:05am.

Took Escape over to Eagles Cove for the day. A bit too warm for an overnight. 82F, partly cloudy, with wind at 6mph from the ESE at departure (10:30 am). Relaxing sail rounding Dobbins Island. Dropped anchor at 12:15pm in 10ft. Banged out a number of boat projects including checking the prop zinc and scrapping the propeller blades. Raised anchor at 3:55pm. Arrived at dock 5:00pm.
Took the paddle board out on Cattail Creek. Had hoped to get Escape out but the forecast convinced me a paddle was the way to go. 76F, cloudy, with wind at 4 mph from the WNW at time of launch (10:50 am). Turned out to be a good call as the creek was flat. and the dinghies out were barely moving.
Took the paddle board out on Cattail Creek this morning. Didn't get out as early as I would have liked. 80F, sunny with wind at 3 mph from the W at time of launch (8:15am).
Took the paddle board out this afternoon. Started on Assawoman Canal then took left onto Bethany Canal. That dumps into Salt Pond. On the way back, took Bethany Canal down and made a left into Lake Bethany. 81F, fair, with wind at 11 mph from the SE at time of launch (2:45pm).
Took the Hobie Wave out for an early afternoon sail. 79F, sunny, with winds at 8 mph from the SE at time of launch (12:10pm). Wind built a bit with time.
Took the Hobie Wave out on Rehoboth Bay. Got the family out and even had my grandson take the helm! 82F, sunny, with wind at 5 mph from the WSW at time of launch (10:20am).
Took the paddle board out on Assawoman Canal. 83F, fair, with wind at 7 mph from the SW at time of launch (8:05pm). Saw several deer, including a baby, near the ramp to the dock. Also spotted a great blue heron as I paddled south under the Atlantic Ave. bridge.
Took the paddle board out on Assawoman Canal after dinner. 82F, sun setting with winds 9 mph from the SSW at time of launch (8:35pm). Paddle up to the Cedar Road bridge was quick as I was paddling with the current. The work out was paddling back down the canal to the ramp as it was against the wind and current.
Took the paddle board out this morning. 78F, sunny, with winds 2 mph from the NNW at time of launch (6:25am). Then at 9:15am, headed out on Escape. Temperature was up to 88F and the wind was now 3 mph from the N. Dropped anchor in 16 ft of water off Henderson's Point at 9:35am. Went for a nice swim with the family and scrubbed the boot stripe. Good time was had by all. Raised the anchor at 10:45am and we're back in the slip at 11:05am.
