After an awesome sunrise on the beach, took a club paddle board out on Rehoboth Bay. 60F, sunny, with wind at 2 mph from the SE at time of launch (8:55am). After I got back in, raised the Hobie Wave mast and installed the tiller/ rudder blades to get ready for the season.

Took Escape out for the day and enjoyed a good sail and a good lunch while anchored in Eagles Cove. 66F, sunny, with winds 8 mph from the NE at time of departure (10:15am). Let a friend take the helm and she overcame her fear of sailing.
Took the dinghy out on Cattail Creek in search of wildlife. 65F, sunny, with wind 4 mph from the WNW at time of launch (9:05 am). Saw a couple Great Blue Herons, a pair of Mallards, several Cormorants and even a turtle.
After a busy day of Easter activities, took the paddle board out for an early evening paddle. 69F, partly sunny, with winds 6 mph from the ENE at time of launch (6:15 pm). Saw a small shore bird as I was paddling out of the marina that I had not seen before. Turns out it was a black crowned night heron. Definitely a few boats out enjoying the warmer temps.
Took the paddle board out on Cattail Creek and spotted Canada geese, Osprey and Great Blue Heron. 69F, partly sunny, with wind 8 mph from the SSW at time of launch (7:50am).
Took the paddle board out on Cattail creek this afternoon for a change as the temperatures this morning were just too cold. 64F, sunny, with wind 7 mph from the WSW at time of launch (5:15 pm)
Took the paddle board out before winds picked up and boat chores on Escape commenced. 63F, partly cloudy with winds at 8 mph from the W at time of launch (9:10 am).
Took the paddle board out for the first paddle of the season on Cattail Creek. 54F, cloudy, with winds 5 mph from the SSE at time of launch (9:55am). Nice calm morning - just needed long sleeves / pants. Took a picture of Escape as well.
Took the paddle board out on Assawoman Canal once the temperatures warmed up a bit. 50F, cloudy, with winds 13 mph from the NNW at time of launch (10:55 am). Definitely a bit of a work out heading out as the wind and current were against me heading to the Central Avenue bridge. Made for a very pleasant paddle back to the ramp.
Escape splashed this morning and we heading up the bay bound for our slip off the Magothy. 44F, raining, with winds 8 mph from the NE at time of departure (11:30am). Passed under the Bay Bridge at 12:26 and we're at the dock at 1:50pm. Rain died down once we passed Sany Point light.
