Took the kids out 2 times this weekend. Fun was had by all... well untill the last hour of the last outing Sunday when the spinaker wraped around the forstay! holy hell.... Thank god my kids were with me! My son assisted at the pit guy and my 8yr old daughter steared the boat while I was on the fordeck UN- F...ing the mess we had. To make things better, we had shore to the lee! Ahh. but we got the sail down, all were exausted. I took them for ice cream and pizza afterwards. Still a good weekend!

May 23rd and 24th - I held practice for my crew and worked on getting the crew ready for the upcoming (fingers Crossed) race season. Saturdays lite winds made it a great opertunity to review and practice setting , flying and doesing the spinaker. Over all the crew had a great time each day and we are all deffinitly glad to be on the water again.
Simply put took the family fishing again, without any sucess. We ended up sailing the rest of the day! Life was good.
May 12th and May 13th, My son Tommy and I went fishing on my Pearson 31-2 and on the 6th finally hooked a rockfish! I let him reel it in, as this was going to be the biggest fish he'd ever caught. It wasnt leagal size to keep, but his excitment was enough to make our whole day! afterwards I ran up my 2019 Century club burdge and we caugh another nice southern wind back into Solomons.
May 2nd and May 3rd - My Son and I went "Fishing" We didnt catch anything but still had a great time! The afternoon winds were out of the south at 16kts. We sailed all the way to the dock! wow what a fealing to sail again after so long! The next day we went back out, but had to cut the trip short due to rain.
